The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is a moderately difficult car to maintain, and is only recommended to someone experienced in car maintenance. To access the lower radiator hose for reliable access for a coolant drain, you will have to peel down a panel under the car. This can be tough, as you will have to use a few tools and contend with gravity to complete. Checking the transmission fluid level is more of a problem than usual, as you will have to crawl under the car in order to remove the dipstick. While it is nice that this car has a dipstick, this access is not very convenient. This car does not come equipped with a traditional spare tire. Instead, the manufacturer included an air compressor kit, which can leave you stranded if your flat tire cannot hold air.
Some things are easier on the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. Reliable access for one of the tail light bulbs is easy, as you only have to reach behind the rear bumper to change the bulb. Connecting the Bluetooth is easy to do, as there are easy to follow steps in the electronic menu for connecting your phone. Other models will require you to use voice activation in order to complete. Checking the brake fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to easily check and replenish the fluid level.
