The 2012 Scion TC is a great vehicle for those inexperienced with car repair. Except for removing the windshield washer fluid reservoir on the passenger side, all of the headlights can be reached with reliability by simply reaching behind the bulb housing. All of the tail lights can be accessed behind a single panel in the trunk. The battery is quick to locate and its exposed bracket makes it easy to remove in the event of a replacement.
However, there are a couple of problems with the 2012 Scion TC. Connecting the Bluetooth can be time-consuming on account of the non-descriptive menus. Access to the cabin air filter may prove to be tedious as it’s located behind multiple panels behind the glove box. A cover in the cowl will need to be removed to access the brake fluid reservoir, which is fitted rather tight and has level markers that are difficult to read.
