The 2011 Subaru Forester X is a relatively easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the average car owner. Both the front and rear wiper blades are no problem to replace. This requires the use of a few tools in order to complete. In order to access the cabin air filter, you will have to lower the glove box for access to the filter. This would have been much easier if there were a designated panel in the rear of the glove box for access. You will have to remove a few bolts in order to remove the tail light housing in order to access the tail lights. This will require tools you may not have readily available for a repair.
