The 2011 Lincoln MKS is a very easy car to maintain. No tools nor parts removals will be necessary to access any of the headlights, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Both the bracket and the terminals on the battery have open access, so replacing the battery whenever necessary shouldn’t be a problem. The engine air filter is also easy to change without the use of any tools.
However, the 2011 Lincoln MKS does have its downsides. You will need tools to disengage the trunk lining and the housing for access to the tail lights, which won’t allow for reliable changes. For access to the cabin air filter the glove box will need to be removed, which can be cumbersome to maneuver. Reaching the transmission fluid dipstick may be a problem on account of the cramped placement of the cap in the engine bay.
