The 2011 Infiniti QX56 is a difficult vehicle to maintain. The entire glove box housing will need to be removed for access to the cabin air filter, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. Accessing many of the headlights may be a problem, as you’ll have to disconnect a portion of the wheel well lining which will only allow for a very tight reach. Access to the power steering fluid reservoir is obstructed by the engine cover, which makes monitoring its fluid levels rather difficult.
However, the 2011 Infiniti QX56 has its upsides. The daytime running light and turn signal are accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Replacing the battery shouldn’t be a problem as it has very open access to both its terminals and bracket. The engine air filter is easy to change, as the filter can be accessed without any tools.
