The 2009 Pontiac G3 is a moderately difficult car to maintain, but shouldn’t be too much of a problem for someone experienced in car maintenance. To access the fog light, you will have to reach through the wheel well lining. This can be tough, as you will need a few tools, and, the lining can grow rigid and tight to the vehicle over time. You will need to lower the glove box and use many tools in order to access the cabin air filter. This would have been much easier if there were a designated panel in the back of the glove box. Reliable access for the headlight is more complicated than on other models. You will have to remove a few bolts in order to remove the bulb housing for access.

Some things are easier on the 2009 Pontiac G3. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible on this vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to replace on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools, so it’s a nice touch to be able to do this with just your hands. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Other models do not include this dipstick.
