The 2009 Honda CR-V EX-L is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain. Accessing the battery won’t be a problem given the open access to both its terminals and bracket. The power steering fluid reservoir is free from obstruction, allowing you to monitor the fluid levels with much reliability. The spare tire and jack kit are quick to find and easy to remove from the trunk, eliminating much of the hassle that comes with fixing a flat.
However, the 2009 Honda CR-V EX-L does have its downsides. You’ll have to remove the engine coolant reservoir to access the front turn signal, which won’t make for reliable bulb changes. The center brake light is not an LED bulb and will require more maintenance than that on similar models. Changing the cabin air filter may be a problem on account of having to disengage the glove box for access.
