The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LT is a very difficult vehicle to maintain and is only recommended to those capable of vehicle maintenance. To change the highbeam bulb with reliability you will have to use many tools to work in many areas of the vehicle so that you can remove the entire housing. To change the headlight bulb, you will have to peel back the wheel well lining. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle. Changing the reverse light can be a problem, as you will have to remove a large panel from the rear of the vehicle.
Some things are easier on the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LT. The interior fuse box is easy to access. The fuse box cover pulls down with just a small amount of effort. While you will have to remove the tail light housing for access to the taillight bulbs, the housing itself is easy to remove. You only need to remove a few bolts and pull on the housing to remove it. To reach the engine air filter you only have to disengage a few torx bolts and one 8MM bolt.
