The 2008 BMW 528xi is a challenging car to maintain. The headlight, a Xenon bulb, requires multiple panels, the wheel well lining, and the bumper to be removed for access, making it very difficult to change with reliability. The fog light will be a problem to access on account of the many panels covering it and the awkward position you’ll need to work in. The cabin air filter is also difficult to change, given the multitude of fastener removals necessary and the overall bulky design.
However, the 2008 BMW 528xi has its upsides. The tail lights are relatively easy to access behind a single panel in the trunk, allowing you to change them with reliability. Fixing a flat shouldn’t be a problem as the spare tire and jack kit are easily accessible in the trunk. The engine air filter requires no tools to disengage its housing, allowing for easy changes.
