The 2008 BMW 328xi is a difficult car to maintain. The entire air filter housing needs to be removed in order to access the filter itself, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. It’ll also need to be removed should some of the headlights need to be accessed, while the rest of the lights will require portions of the wheel well lining to be pried back. Accessing the cabin air filter is also a problem, as its multiple fasteners and bulky build will prove cumbersome to maneuver around.
However, the 2008 BMW 328xi has its upsides. The tail lights in both housings can be reliably changed, as only a rivet popper will be needed to access either assembly. Monitoring the power steering fluid levels is no problem on account of its reservoir’s very open access. The fuses also have quick access in the glove box, allowing for easy electrical troubleshooting.
