The 2004 Nissan Maxima SE is a difficult car to maintain. The grille, bumper, and portions of the wheel well lining will need to be removed in order to access the headlights, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Similarly, multiple fasteners and portions of the trunk lining will need to be removed before the tail light housing can be taken out. Changing the cabin air filter is also a problem as the glove box needs to be removed in order to access the filter.
However, the 2004 Nissan Maxima SE has its upsides. The spare tire and jack kit are quick to find and easy to set up, allowing for reliable flat tire repair. Monitoring the transmission fluid levels is no problem, as its dipstick is quick to find right next to the engine and easy to remove. The battery has very open access, making it easy to replace whenever necessary.
