The 2002 Lexus RX300 is a difficult car to maintain, mainly because of the complicated lights procedures. The headlight and fog light on the passenger side require the windshield washer fluid reservoir to be removed for access, which is a tedious procedure. The turn signals on the driver side require both the battery and a portion of the wheel well lining to be removed, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Accessing any of the tail lights may be a problem, as well, on account of the multiple panels and bolts that will need to be removed first.
However, the 2002 Lexus RX300 has its upsides. The highbeam on both sides can be accessed with reliability by simply reaching behind the bulb housing. The cabin air filter is accessible behind a couple of panels inside the glove box. And, the spare and jack kit can be removed without a problem.
